LASER WIRELESS OPTICAL MEANS
OF COMMUNICATION (LAL 2+)

The system allows transmitting E1/T1 signals in atmosphere by means of optical emission and could be used to organize data transmission channels without cable installation and without leasing radio frequency band. The device has built-in diagnostics and error control and ensures automatic beam pointing and real-time monitoring. The system is produced in 4 modifications: LAL2+500, LAL2+1000, LAL2+2000, LAL2+5000 with corresponding working distances 0,5 km, 1 km, 2 km and 5 km. LAL2+ line consists of 2 identical stations, located within line of sight, and includes:
  • optical modem unit;
  • automated drive unit (not available for LAL2+500);
  • interface unit, connected to optical modem unit;
    Main applications:
    LAL + is used to connect telephone and computer networks. It is most effective to employ LAL+ in the cities when cable installation is difficult or impossible or there is electromagnetic interference.
